What this chapter is about

1 proposal indexed from this chapter.

The document says “may be cited asWho acts: CongressHow: statuteSec. 1 in the PDF
What the document says

“This Act may be cited as the "ACES Act of 2025".”

To provide for a study by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine on the prevalence and mortality of cancer among individuals who served as active duty aircrew in the Armed Forces, and for other purposes, Sec. 1

The Act names itself the ACES Act of 2025. The section carries no other provision, and the law does not expand the letters anywhere in its text.

What the document actually says

“This Act may be cited as the "ACES Act of 2025".”

To provide for a study by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine on the prevalence and mortality of cancer among individuals who served as active duty aircrew in the Armed Forces, and for other purposes, Sec. 1
That sentence, in plain words

This law has a short name. The name is the ACES Act of 2025.

What this is about

A law often gives itself a short name. Then people can talk about it without saying the long title. This part does that and nothing more.

No action is recorded against this proposal. That is not evidence that none has been taken, and nobody has yet read it against the record. See what the tracker does not yet cover.

What This Page Covers, and What It Leaves Out

The naming provision, which is the whole of the section.

Nothing. The section contains only the short title. The approval line and the legislative history the Government Publishing Office prints after the last section are held out of the indexed text.

The section says what the Act may be called. It does not say what the Act does, and it does not spell out what the letters ACES stand for.
