The appropriation for the Office on Violence Against Women, which makes grants for the prevention and prosecution of violence against women under a long list of named statutes. Of the total, $257,000,000 is for grants to combat violence against women under part T of the 1968 Act. The $100,000,000 transferred in comes from the Crime Victims Fund established by section 1402 of chapter XIV of title II of Public Law 98-473.
