The ambulance add-on date becomes January 1, 2028

Section 6203 amends section 1834(l) of the Social Security Act, striking January 31, 2026 and inserting January 1, 2028 in paragraph (12)(A) and in each place the date appears in paragraph (13).

In two parts of the law, cross out one date. Write in another. The new date is January 1, 2028.
An add-on payment is extra money on top of the base rate. This one goes to ambulance trips. The extra was set to stop.
