What the document says

“``(K) $350,000,000 for fiscal year 2026; and”

Making further consolidated appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other purposes, Sec. 6401

Subsection (b) of section 6401 replaces subparagraphs (I) through (L) of section 10503(b)(2) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. It sets $350,000,000 for fiscal year 2026 and $88,219,178 for the period from October 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, and restates the 2024 and 2025 figures.

What the document actually says

“``(K) $350,000,000 for fiscal year 2026; and”

Making further consolidated appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other purposes, Sec. 6401
That sentence, in plain words

For fiscal year 2026 the sum is $350,000,000.

What this is about

The corps pays off school loans for health workers. In return they work where workers are scarce. A further sum covers the three months after the year ends.

How to Read This Page

The quotation is the document's own words, exactly as printed, and we check the page number against the Act itself before publishing. The paragraph underneath is our summary, not the document's words. So is the plain English version, which is why it sits beside the quotation rather than replacing it.
