What the document says“including personnel in the Army Corps of Engineers and other personal services necessary for the purposes of this appropriation, and for construction and operation of facilities in support of the functions of the Commander in Chief, $2,381,909,000, to remain available until September 30, 2030”
This is the first of division D's construction accounts. Of the total, not more than $415,688,000 is for study, planning, design and host nation support, and $377,950,000 is for the projects, activities and amounts specified in the table under this heading in the explanatory statement described in section 4.
What the document actually says“including personnel in the Army Corps of Engineers and other personal services necessary for the purposes of this appropriation, and for construction and operation of facilities in support of the functions of the Commander in Chief, $2,381,909,000, to remain available until September 30, 2030”
The Army gets over two billion dollars for building. It has until September 2030 to use it.
