The authorities of the 2018 farm law continue

Subsection (a) carries the whole of the 2018 farm law forward as it stood on September 30, 2025, including the funding levels of its mandatory programs, and says those authorities shall continue and be carried out until the date specified in paragraph (2). Programs funded by discretionary appropriations remain subject to the availability of appropriations.

The powers given by the farm law of 2018 keep going. So do the limits that came with them.
A farm law is written to last about five years. This one ran out. Rather than write a new one, Congress kept the old one going.
