“Section 1834(m)(9) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395m(m)(9)) is amended by striking "ending on September 30, 2025" and inserting "ending on January 30, 2026".”
Subsection (e) carries forward the rule that lets some care be given by sound alone. Subsection (f) does the same for using telehealth for the face to face visit before hospice care is recertified, and subsection (g) lets the Secretary put the changes in place by program instruction.
