The program is funded through January 30, 2026
What the document says“and inserting "2025, and for the period beginning on October 1, 2025, and ending on January 30, 2026"”
The section amends section 510 of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 710). The string of part years left by earlier short-term bills is struck and replaced by a single period running from October 1, 2025 to January 30, 2026. Subsection (f)(1) sets the amount for that period at the pro rata portion of what was appropriated for the same stretch of fiscal year 2025.
What the document actually says“and inserting "2025, and for the period beginning on October 1, 2025, and ending on January 30, 2026"”
A long list of past part years comes out. In its place goes one short period ending January 30, 2026.
This program has been kept alive by short bills for years. Each one left its dates in the text. Here they are swept up and replaced.
