What the document says

“(H) $53,145,205 for the period beginning on October 1, 2025, and ending on January 30, 2026, to remain available until expended.”

Making continuing appropriations and extensions for fiscal year 2026, and for other purposes, Sec. 6102

Subsection (a) adds a new subparagraph to section 330B(b)(2) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 254c-2(b)(2)). Subsection (b) adds an identically worded subparagraph, in the same amount, for the diabetes program for Indians.

What the document actually says

“(H) $53,145,205 for the period beginning on October 1, 2025, and ending on January 30, 2026, to remain available until expended.”

Making continuing appropriations and extensions for fiscal year 2026, and for other purposes, Sec. 6102
That sentence, in plain words

About fifty three million dollars is added. It covers October 1, 2025 through January 30, 2026. It can be spent later.

What this is about

Type one diabetes usually starts in childhood. This money pays for research into it. The words to remain available mean it need not be spent at once.

Both sums, and which program each belongs to.

The lettering changes that make room for each new subparagraph.

The section works by amending the Public Health Service Act. That law is not indexed here, so this file does not say what either program funds.
