Named provisions of the fiscal year 2024 Acts are excepted or applied with different dollar figures
What the document says“except section 510 shall be applied by substituting ``$1,900,000,000'' for ``$1,353,000,000''”
Nine of the twelve paragraphs in section 1101(a) carry exceptions. Some drop a named section, proviso or paragraph of the fiscal year 2024 Act outright. Others keep the section but apply it with one dollar figure in place of another, as in this example from the Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2024.
What the document actually says“except section 510 shall be applied by substituting ``$1,900,000,000'' for ``$1,353,000,000''”
