What the document says

“section 747 of title VII of division B of Public Law 118-47 shall be applied through the date specified in section 1106 of this Act by--”

Making further continuing appropriations and other extensions for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, and for other purposes, Sec. 3

Section 1605 applies section 747 with four substitutions that move each year forward by one and point a cross reference at the 2024 text. Section 1606 turns off section 128 of division B of Public Law 118-47 for fiscal year 2025. Section 1607 applies section 302 of title III of Public Law 108-494 with the section 1106 date in place of December 31, 2024.

What the document actually says

“section 747 of title VII of division B of Public Law 118-47 shall be applied through the date specified in section 1106 of this Act by--”

Making further continuing appropriations and other extensions for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, and for other purposes, Sec. 3
That sentence, in plain words

One rule is applied with new years in it. It runs to the date set in section 1106.

What this is about

Section 1106 sets that date at September 30, 2025. Several parts of this law point back to it. That keeps them all ending together.

How to Read This Page

The quotation is the document's own words, exactly as printed, and we check the page number against the Act itself before publishing. The paragraph underneath is our summary, not the document's words. So is the plain English version, which is why it sits beside the quotation rather than replacing it.
