Two National Flood Insurance Act provisions run to the date in section 1106
What the document says“shall be applied by substituting the date specified in section 1106 of this Act for ``September 30, 2023''.”
Section 1709 applies sections 1309(a) and 1319 of the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 (42 U.S.C. 4016(a) and 4026) with the section 1106 date, which is September 30, 2025. The section takes effect immediately on enactment, and if the Act was enacted after March 14, 2025 it is applied as if it were in effect on March 14, 2025. The Act was approved on March 15, 2025.
