Indian Health Service accounts get set levels and advance amounts, and a relocation office gets $1,650,000
What the document says“$38,709,000 is appropriated for ``Department of Health and Human Services--Indian Health Service--Indian Health Services'', which shall become available on October 1, 2025, and remain available through September 30, 2027.”
Section 1803 sets $38,709,000 for part of the Indian Health Services account and adds the same amount as an advance for the following year. Section 1804 sets $3,920,000 and $289,306,000 for parts of the Indian Health Facilities account, adds $3,920,000 as an advance, and sets one amount to $0. Section 1805 appropriates $1,650,000 for the Office of Navajo and Hopi Indian Relocation on the fiscal year 2024 terms, consistent with section 1105.
What the document actually says“$38,709,000 is appropriated for ``Department of Health and Human Services--Indian Health Service--Indian Health Services'', which shall become available on October 1, 2025, and remain available through September 30, 2027.”
There is $38,709,000 more. It may be used starting October 1, 2025.
This is money set now for a later year. It runs two years from that start. Section 1112 does the same thing for other accounts.
