Two whistleblower program provisions run to September 30, 2025
What the document says“Section 1(b) of Public Law 117-25 (135 Stat. 297; 136 Stat. 2133; 136 Stat. 5984) is amended in each of paragraphs (3) and (4) by striking ``March 14, 2025'' and inserting ``September 30, 2025''.”
The section amends paragraphs (3) and (4) of section 1(b) of Public Law 117-25, striking March 14, 2025 and inserting September 30, 2025. March 14, 2025 was the day the prior stopgap funding law expired, and this Act was approved the day after.
What the document actually says“Section 1(b) of Public Law 117-25 (135 Stat. 297; 136 Stat. 2133; 136 Stat. 5984) is amended in each of paragraphs (3) and (4) by striking ``March 14, 2025'' and inserting ``September 30, 2025''.”
One date is taken out in two places. March 14, 2025 becomes September 30, 2025.
A whistleblower is a person who reports wrongdoing. This program pays such people. The rules for its fund now run to the end of the budget year.
