Coverage chosen for 2025 carries on through the 2031 crop year

The section adds a new subparagraph (C) to paragraph (2) of subsection (c) of section 1115 of the Agricultural Act of 2014, applying to each covered commodity on a farm for the 2027 through 2031 crop years the same coverage that applied for the 2025 crop year.

Each crop on the farm keeps the cover it had in 2025. That holds for the 2027 to 2031 crop years.
The choice is not made afresh each year. What held in 2025 rolls on. A farm does not have to pick again.
