The document says “is amendedWho acts: Secretary of AgricultureHow: statuteSec. 10304 in the PDF
What the document says

“by striking "2012 through 2016" each place it appears and inserting "2017 through 2021".”

To provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14, Sec. 10304

The section amends subsection (g) of section 1116 of the Agricultural Act of 2014 by striking the reference to subparagraph (F) of section 1111(19) and inserting a reference to paragraph (19)(A)(vi) of section 1111, and by striking 2012 through 2016 each place it appears and inserting 2017 through 2021.

What the document actually says

“by striking "2012 through 2016" each place it appears and inserting "2017 through 2021".”

To provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14, Sec. 10304
That sentence, in plain words

The years 2012 through 2016 are taken out. The years 2017 through 2021 are put in. That is done wherever the old years appear.

What this is about

A pointer to another part of the older law is also redirected. It now points to a spot in the new price list. What the older rule does with these years is not recorded here.

How to Read This Page

The quotation is the document's own words, exactly as printed, and we check the page number against the Act itself before publishing. The paragraph underneath is our summary, not the document's words. So is the plain English version, which is why it sits beside the quotation rather than replacing it.
