Watershed protection funding rises to $150,000,000 a year from fiscal year 2026
What the document says“is amended by striking "$50,000,000 for fiscal year 2019 and each fiscal year thereafter" and inserting "$150,000,000 for fiscal year 2026 and each fiscal year thereafter, to remain available until expended".”
The section strikes the older figure and inserts $150,000,000 for fiscal year 2026 and each fiscal year after, to remain available until expended, in section 15 of the Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act (16 U.S.C. 1012a).
What the document actually says“is amended by striking "$50,000,000 for fiscal year 2019 and each fiscal year thereafter" and inserting "$150,000,000 for fiscal year 2026 and each fiscal year thereafter, to remain available until expended".”
Old wording is taken out of a flood law. New wording is put in. It gives $150 million a year from fiscal year 2026.
The money stays there until it is spent. There is no end year in the new wording. What it pays for is not recorded here.
