The section appropriates five further sums to the Secretary of Defense for fiscal year 2025, available through September 30, 2029: $2,200,000,000 to accelerate hypersonic defense systems; $800,000,000 for next-generation intercontinental ballistic missile defense systems; $408,000,000 to restore and modernize Army space and strategic missile test range infrastructure in the Indo-Pacific Command area west of the international dateline; $1,975,000,000 for improved ground-based missile defense radars; and $530,000,000 to design and build a Missile Defense Agency missile instrumentation range safety ship.
