Bureau of Land Management timber sales must grow by 20 million board feet a year

The section requires the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the Bureau of Land Management, to sell in each of fiscal years 2026 through 2034 at least 20,000,000 board feet more timber on public lands than was sold the previous fiscal year, subject to the resource management plan in effect at enactment.

The Secretary must sell more timber each year. Each year must beat the last by 20 million board feet. That holds from fiscal year 2026 through 2034.
This applies to public lands, not to national forests. The rise builds on the year before. The land use plan in force at enactment still caps it.
