Section 10505 · Sec. 10505 ·

What this chapter is about

This part changes a funding figure for compliance work. It is $4 million a year through fiscal year 2025. From fiscal year 2026 it is $6 million a year.

1 proposal indexed from this chapter.

The document says “is amendedWho acts: Federal Crop Insurance CorporationHow: statuteSec. 10505 in the PDF
What the document says

“$4,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2009 through 2025; and”

To provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14, Sec. 10505

The section strikes the word than and all that follows through the period at the end of section 515(l)(2) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act (7 U.S.C. 1515(l)(2)) and inserts two figures: $4,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2009 through 2025, and $6,000,000 for fiscal year 2026 and each subsequent fiscal year.

What the document actually says

“$4,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2009 through 2025; and”

To provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14, Sec. 10505
That sentence, in plain words

The figure is $4 million a year. That covers fiscal years 2009 through 2025.

What this is about

A second figure follows it. From fiscal year 2026 the figure is $6 million. It pays for checking that the program is run right.

No action is recorded against this proposal. That is not evidence that none has been taken, and nobody has yet read it against the record. See what the tracker does not yet cover.

What This Page Covers, and What It Leaves Out

The one thing the section does: replace a single funding figure with two figures split by fiscal year.

Nothing in the section is left out. It contains only this one amendment.

The section works by amending section 515(l)(2) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act, which is not indexed here, so what the money is spent on cannot be checked against anything on this site.
