A county's 2023 election carries over to 2024 and 2025
What the document says“The election described in paragraph (1)(A) applicable to a county in fiscal year 2023 shall be effective for each of fiscal years 2024 and 2025.”
The section adds subparagraph (C) to section 102(b)(2) of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000, carrying a county's fiscal year 2023 election under paragraph (1)(A) forward so that it is effective for fiscal years 2024 and 2025.
What the document actually says“The election described in paragraph (1)(A) applicable to a county in fiscal year 2023 shall be effective for each of fiscal years 2024 and 2025.”
A county made a choice for 2023. That same choice counts for 2024. It counts for 2025 too.
The choice is not made a second time. The old one is used again. No county has to go back and pick.
