Wetlands Conservation and Access Improvement Act of 2025 › Section 2

Availability of Interest on Obligations Held in Federal Aid to Wildlife Restoration Fund

Section 2 · Sec. 2 ·

What this chapter is about

This part changes one year in an older law. It takes out 2026. It puts in 2033. Nothing else in that law changes.

1 proposal indexed from this chapter.

The document says “is amendedWho acts: CongressHow: statuteSec. 2 in the PDF
What the document says

“Section 3(b)(2)(C) of the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act (16 U.S.C. 669b(b)(2)(C)) is amended by striking ``2026'' and inserting ``2033''.”

To amend the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act to provide that interest on obligations held in the Federal aid to wildlife restoration fund shall become available for apportionment at the beginning of fiscal year 2033, Sec. 2

The whole of section 2. It amends section 3(b)(2)(C) of the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act, codified at 16 U.S.C. 669b(b)(2)(C), by striking the year 2026 and inserting the year 2033. That older law is not indexed here, so the site does not say what the surrounding text provides.

What the document actually says

“Section 3(b)(2)(C) of the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act (16 U.S.C. 669b(b)(2)(C)) is amended by striking ``2026'' and inserting ``2033''.”

To amend the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act to provide that interest on obligations held in the Federal aid to wildlife restoration fund shall become available for apportionment at the beginning of fiscal year 2033, Sec. 2
That sentence, in plain words

This part changes an older law. It takes out the year 2026. It puts in the year 2033.

What this is about

One law can change another law. It can do that by swapping one word for another. Here only a year is swapped. The rest of the older law is not touched.

No action is recorded against this proposal. That is not evidence that none has been taken, and nobody has yet read it against the record. See what the tracker does not yet cover.

What This Page Covers, and What It Leaves Out

The one change the section makes: the older law it amends, the place in it, and the two years swapped.

What the older law says around the year that changed. That law is not indexed on this site, so the site does not describe it.

The section works by amending an older law, so a reader following the citation into that law will find the older wording until this one is applied.
