What the document says

“The amendments made by this division, except for the amendments made by section 7307, shall take effect as if enacted on September 30, 2025.”

Making continuing appropriations and extensions for fiscal year 2026, and for other purposes, Sec. 7406

Most of division G moves dates that fell on September 30, 2025. Backdating the division keeps those authorities from lapsing in the weeks before the Act was signed. Section 7307, which changes the partial claim program, is left out and so takes effect on enactment.

What the document actually says

“The amendments made by this division, except for the amendments made by section 7307, shall take effect as if enacted on September 30, 2025.”

That sentence, in plain words

What this is about

Many powers here ran out at the end of September. The law came in November. This closes the gap.

No action is recorded against this proposal. That is not evidence that none has been taken, and nobody has yet read it against the record. See what the tracker does not yet cover.

What This Page Covers, and What It Leaves Out

The one thing the section does: backdate the division, and name the one section it excepts.

Nothing else. The section is one sentence.

The section names section 7307, which is indexed in its own file. Nothing recorded here depends on a document that is not indexed.
