The section strikes paragraph (2) of section 1207(c) of the Agricultural Act of 2014 (7 U.S.C. 9037(c)) and inserts a new one setting the value of the assistance at 3 cents per pound for the period beginning August 1, 2013 and ending July 31, 2025, and at 5 cents per pound beginning August 1, 2025.

Up to July 31, 2025 it is 3 cents a pound. From August 1, 2025 it is 5 cents a pound. The help goes to mills that use cotton.
