The section appropriates fourteen sums to the Administrator for fiscal year 2025, available through September 30, 2029, for acquiring, building, sustaining and improving facilities and equipment needed to improve or maintain aviation safety: $4,750,000,000 for telecommunications modernization; $3,000,000,000 for radar replacement; $500,000,000 for runway safety technologies, runway lighting and airport surface surveillance and to carry out section 347 of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024; $300,000,000 for Enterprise Information Display Systems; $80,000,000 for weather observing systems, cameras and stations; $40,000,000 for section 44745 of title 49; $1,900,000,000 for a new air route traffic control center; $100,000,000 for a realignment and consolidation effort; $1,000,000,000 for terminal radar approach control facilities; $350,000,000 for unstaffed infrastructure; $50,000,000 for section 961, $300,000,000 for section 619 and $50,000,000 for section 621 of that Act and remote tower technology; and $100,000,000 for controller advanced training technologies.
