The Comptroller General must analyze how the Department uses veteran feedback
What the document says“complete an analysis of the methodology, effectiveness, and implementation of findings and feedback of veterans and beneficiaries used by the Department of Veterans Affairs, including the Veterans Experience Office, to improve veteran and beneficiary customer experience and satisfaction, including through the use of what are known as "trust-scores", Veteran Signals also known as "VSignals", and related survey and data collection activities, processes, and initiatives”
Within 540 days of enactment the Comptroller General must analyze the methods the Department uses to gather and act on veteran and beneficiary feedback, naming trust scores and Veteran Signals, or VSignals, among the things to be examined. This subsection sits in the Act itself and amends no statute.
What the document actually says“complete an analysis of the methodology, effectiveness, and implementation of findings and feedback of veterans and beneficiaries used by the Department of Veterans Affairs, including the Veterans Experience Office, to improve veteran and beneficiary customer experience and satisfaction, including through the use of what are known as "trust-scores", Veteran Signals also known as "VSignals", and related survey and data collection activities, processes, and initiatives”
A watchdog must study how the VA gathers views from veterans. It must look at the trust scores and the VSignals surveys. The study is due in 540 days.
The watchdog is called the Comptroller General. That office works for Congress. It checks how well the government does its job.
