What Is Here, and What Is Not

Sectioning is not indexing. Every law here is split into its own sections and every section is readable and citable; a law is listed as indexed once each of those sections has been gone through and the things it does recorded. The count above says how many have.

Every public law of this Congress is here. The defense authorization was the last to arrive: it runs to 1,125 sections across eight divisions, so a section is addressed by its division and its number together, and going through those sections is work still to do.
